NVIDIA Unveils Revolutionary Advances in AI at CES 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang captivated audiences with groundbreaking announcements to redefine the future of artificial intelligence (AI). NVIDIA's vision promises to accelerate innovation across industries, from generative physical AI to advancements in gaming, robotics, and autonomous vehicles. Jensen Huang emphasized that AI has evolved rapidly from understanding images and sounds to creating content. Now, it is entering the era of physical AI, capable of reasoning, planning, and acting in the real world.


NVIDIA introduced its Cosmos platform, which is designed to power physical AI systems such as robots, autonomous vehicles, and industrial environments. Physical AI requires models that can interpret and interact with a three-dimensional world. NVIDIA's Cosmos platform leverages world foundation models (WFMs) to simulate real-world scenarios, enabling robots and AI systems to make optimal decisions. This platform offers developers tools for generating physics-based synthetic data, streamlining the development of robotics and autonomous systems. Cosmos models can predict outcomes from text, image, or video inputs, enabling multiverse simulations to explore all possible actions and consequences.


NVIDIA's advancements extend to gaming with the launch of the GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. These GPUs deliver unprecedented performance, supporting groundbreaking features such as DLSS 4 and RTX Neural Shaders, enhancing textures and real-time lighting. The flagship GeForce RTX 5090 GPU boasts 92 billion transistors and 3,352 trillion AI operations per second, offering exceptional visual realism for gamers and creators.

The introduction of Project DIGITS marked another milestone. Jensen Huang revealed this compact AI supercomputer, powered by the Grace Blackwell Superchip, as NVIDIA's most powerful yet accessible AI system. It allows developers and creators to harness NVIDIA's full AI stack from their desks, facilitating groundbreaking advancements in AI applications.


Agentic AI was another focal point at CES. NVIDIA unveiled Nemotron, a family of models optimized for agentic AI systems that execute customer support, fraud detection, and video analytics tasks. The company also expanded its AI Blueprints ecosystem, enabling developers to create AI-driven solutions tailored for enterprise workflows and digital media management.


The impact of NVIDIA's innovations extends to autonomous vehicles, with the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform offering advanced functional safety and intelligence. Leveraging synthetic data, the platform significantly accelerates the development of autonomous driving capabilities, with adoption by leading automotive manufacturers like Toyota and Mercedes-Benz.

As part of its commitment to advancing AI, NVIDIA has established partnerships with companies such as Uber and Accenture, leveraging its platforms to enhance robotics, warehouse automation, and industrial AI applications. Jensen Huang highlighted that NVIDIA's AI tools and models are now available in every central cloud and OEM system, democratizing access to cutting-edge technology.


CES 2025 showcased NVIDIA's transformative approach to AI, combining innovative hardware, powerful software, and groundbreaking platforms to empower industries and individuals.
